Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel, managed by HMH, hosted yesterday the 3rd annual Emirati Women’s Day to recognize the contribution of the nation’s women in the success of the country. The event was organized in association with the Tourism Development Authority of the UAE and was inaugurated by H.E. Sheikh Doctor Majid Bin Saeed Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ruler’s Court of Ajman. Present on the occasion was also the Director General of Ajman Tourism Mr. Salah Al Jazeeri to award Dr. Aysha Al Bousmit, winner of the Emirati Women’s Day trophy.

Elaborating on the celebration, Ferghal Purcell, COO of HMH – Hospitality Management Holding, said, “We were extremely proud to host this prestigious event which recognizes the contribution of women who have been playing a very significant role in the progress and development of the UAE. Women are an integral part of the country’s work force and it is vital that we celebrate their success.”

During the day, several women were recognized with special awards for their noteworthy contribution to the UAE’s development and thriving economy.
